Our Candles
What wax do you use in your candles?
We use 100% premium soy wax in every candle. Soy burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, produces minimal soot, and is sustainably sourced. We never blend with paraffin or synthetic additives — what you smell is pure fragrance.
Are your fragrances safe to breathe?
Yes. All our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and skin-safe grade. We test each blend at 8–10% fragrance load for soy wax — ensuring a clean, even burn without producing harmful compounds.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn times vary by size:
- Small jars (100–150g): 20–30 hours
- Medium jars (200–250g): 35–45 hours
- Sculptural candles: 15–25 hours
Always allow a full melt pool on the first burn and trim the wick before each use.
Are your candles truly hand-made?
Yes — every single one. Each candle is hand-poured or hand-sculpted in small batches. Minor variations in colour, texture, or surface finish are the signature of genuine craftsmanship. No two Raha Moments candles are identical.
Do you use natural wicks?
We use 100% cotton, lead-free wicks sized to each vessel for an even burn. Wooden wicks appear in select sculptural collections for their distinctive crackling ambience.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days (custom orders: 5–7 days). After dispatch:
- Metro cities: 3–5 business days
- Tier 2 & 3 cities: 5–8 business days
- Remote areas: 7–10 business days
Do you ship across India?
Yes, we ship pan-India. Free shipping on orders above ₹999. International shipping is not yet available, but we're working on it.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link via email and SMS. You can also check your order status from your account page.
My candle arrived damaged — what do I do?
We're sorry. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund — no questions asked.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 12 hours of placing. After that window the order may already be packed. Reach us immediately on WhatsApp or email and we'll do our best.
Candle Care
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
The first burn is the most critical. Let the candle burn until the entire top is melted edge-to-edge — this sets the wax "memory" and prevents tunnelling. This takes 1.5–2.5 hours depending on diameter.
Never burn more than 4 hours at a time, and trim the wick to 5–6mm before each session.
Why does my candle have white patches or "frosting"?
Frosting is a completely natural characteristic of pure soy wax — caused by the polymorphic nature of vegetable waxes. It does not affect scent throw, burn quality, or safety. Many enthusiasts consider it proof of authentic, all-natural soy.
How should I store unused candles?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. UV degrades fragrance and fades colour. Keep lids on when not in use, and avoid storing in cars or near windows. Ideal temperature: below 25°C.
My wick keeps going out. What's wrong?
Almost always an over-trimmed wick. The wick must be at least 5mm above the wax surface to sustain a flame. If over-trimmed, let the pool solidify, remove excess wax from around the wick, and relight. Also avoid burning in drafty areas.
Custom & Gifting
Do you make custom candles for weddings or events?
Absolutely. We create bespoke fragrances, custom labels, personalised packaging, and unique sculptural forms for weddings, anniversaries, Diwali, and corporate events. Minimum 20 units, 10–15 business day lead time. Get in touch.
Can I add a personal message to a gift order?
Yes — at checkout, select "This is a gift" and enter your message. We include a handwritten note card with every gift order at no extra charge.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes. For bulk orders (50+ units) and wholesale partnerships with hotels, spas, and boutiques, we offer custom pricing. Contact us with your requirements — we'll respond within 48 hours.
Can I request a custom fragrance blend?
Yes. Describe the mood, memory, or notes you have in mind and our artisans will craft a signature blend for you. Custom fragrance development is available for orders of 50+ units.
